Our training staff is an elite class of ball players from every level of the game. Each have experienced success as baseball or softball players, and now use that growth to help others train to achieve their dreams.

RUSS BURROUGHS | HEAD TRAINER Available Sept - April 

Russ is the Head Coach for the Wilmington Sharks in the Coastal Plain League. The CPL is one of the top premier collegiate summer leagues in the nation. With the Sharks, Russ works with top D1 athletes from all over the country. Prior to coaching in Wilimington, Russ was the Head Coach of the Edenton Steamers. Russ has coached over 40 players in MLB organizations, 15 players in the Independent Leagues, 8 players represented in the College World Series, 3 players represented in the World Baseball Classic, and over 30 CPL All-Stars.


Russ played and graduated from Lipscomb University. He also played four years of professional baseball, including one season internationally. He was a relief pitcher and designated hitter. 

As our Head Trainer, Russ is involved with all our training programs. He also spends time with players and their families to help build a long term plan for their adjustment into the next level of play.

PAM FOWLER | PITCHING/HITTING / FIELDING

Pam was an All-Star pitcher and short-stop for the University of Iowa.

​

She is our longest tenured trainer with over 15 years of working with softball players at NBA.

​

Her dedication makes her a forever member of our training staff.

ZACH GILLES | HITTING / FIELDING / SPEED 

​

Zach was a five year starter at Central Michigan as a centerfielder. During his time at CMU he set a program record by playing in 245 games and ranks top 10 in five career categories in University program history: second in hits (252), triples (15), and walks (148); and fourth in at-bats (813) and runs (178). Played Summer Collegiate Ball in the Northwoods League in 2017, 2018, 2019, & 2020; and was named Northwoods League All-Star in 2017 & 2020.

DANIEL KOGER | PITCHING â€‹

​

Selected 2011 Mr. Baseball for the state of Alabama while winning the state championship at Huntsville High. High School Louisville Slugger All-American pitcher. Played 3 years at Auburn and a summer in Cape Cod as a starter,  and 1 year at UAH before being drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2015. Played 2 and a half years of pro ball in Grand Junction, Boise, and Asheville.

RYAN BULL | HITTING / FIELDING / SPEED 

NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS​

Ryan was a four-year starter at Notre Dame playing both outfield and first base. During his tenure, he garnered All-conference and All-academic honors and led the Irish to their first NCAA tournament appearance in nine years, earning himself a spot on the All-regional team. Ryan has been giving hitting and fielding lessons to young players looking to develop their fundamentals and take their skills to the next level.
